Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is actively seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team in Mesa, Arizona. Responsibilities

  • Code, batch, process, and disburse accounts payable invoices.
  • Run daily check and ACH pay cycles efficiently.
  • Reconcile statements and invoices to ensure accuracy.
  • Research and resolve discrepancies in accounts.
  • Maintain effective vendor relations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external staff to resolve payable issues, ensuring strong working relationships.
  • Participate in internal and external audit requests.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of recent accounts payable experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong proficiency in Excel is required.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Exhibits excellent customer service skills and the ability to respond to the needs of coworkers and clients.
  • Consistently achieves high work standards with attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Shows initiative and the ability to think, work, and ask questions when necessary.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, customer/client focus, and teamwork.

Required Work Hours

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, (Flexible hours once trained) Monday - Friday.

*This is an on-going temporary position that may have the possibility of converting

The minimum pay for this position is $21 per hour, with opportunities for career advancement based on performance and company needs.
